Cooking a Meal

We serve a hot meal each Sunday at 1pm at Roland Bland Park. Volunteers can drop a meal off or stay and serve. We aim for a meal that feeds 30 people. BGN can provide plates, silverware, etc.

Serving a Meal

We can always use extra hands to plate out the meals and spend a minute getting to know our unhoused neighbors. Like cooking, we aim for Sundays at 1pm at Roland Bland Park.

Outreach Runs

When the meal is done, we package any leftover food, grab supplies (prepackaged meal bags, hygiene supplies, warm or cold weather supplies) and head out into the community. Outreach runs typically start around 2pm and run from anywhere between 3pm and 5pm depending on which route you are on, weather, etc. Each run is led by a trained member of our Leadership Team.

Street Medicine

We host medical clinics on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday at the Life Navigation Center. Additionally, we do a quick medical clinic for Room in the Inn (during the season) on Mondays and Thursday nights. If you have medical expertise, please reach out for more information.
